Asis- Yes, the word 'unluckly' is an archaic term- often mistaken for 'unluckily' or 'unlucky.' As a consequence, it is often misused. It is believed to derive from the yannish 'unluc," related to the latin 'luc ' (from when the Roman Empire seized Yannish territory). Luc means light- and unluc- no one knows since Yannish is a dead language.
In short, Unluckly refers to something ironic, (ie. seen in poor lighting)... and can sometimes denote bad cheese.
The Yannish were famous for bad cheese.
